While at Coastal Living, I was responsible for sending email newsletters every two weeks. One of them was edit centric and promoted the new web issue content. The other, like this one, was simpler, more graphic and promoted a specific package.

Fetching Waves – print
This was a story that ran in the well of Coastal Living magazine. I researched and wrote the piece and arranged for free photos. For the web, I created a complete package including a slideshow, product piece, and video of the event.
Virtual Tours
Shot, edited and produced online virtual tours of Idea Houses using IPIX, QuickTime, and Java.
During my tenure as online editor at CoastalLiving.com I shot and assembled over 10 virtual tours within their Idea House program. Each tour consisted of 8-10 immersive tours of rooms within these decorator showhouses. Sometimes there were more individual rooms and exterior 360° tours shot for a particular house.
Unfortunately, CoastalLiving.com, nor the Time, Inc. homes hub, MyHomeIdeas.com, are no longer hosting these files.
Surf Dogs of Del Mar Beach
This was live event video shot when I was on location to research a print story on surfing dogs. When I returned I wrote the print story and edited the video as a companion piece. There was also a slide show in the package. Surf Dogs of Del Mar Beach

Roasting Whole Fish
Roasting Whole Fish video was a voice over static images video. The audio was recorded with an iPod microphone and married to slides using FinalCut.
Selecting and Preparing Whole Fish was a live action interview format video shot at a local Whole Foods.
